Topics for the 30 seminars and institutes offered for teachers this summer include Spanish literature; political, 文化, 经济, and religious history; African-American, Native American history and cultures; the Arabic novel in translation; European diplomacy and political theory; poetry as an art form; abolitionism, social movements; archaeology of the Americas; Bach, 莫扎特, and Dvorak; the literature and culture of Ancient Rome; early American art; United States Constitution and government; the works of Shakespeare and Chaucer. 参与这些研究的大约651名教师将教授近81名教师,第二年有375名美国学生.
