MS Idol This Weekend
Excitement is building for this weekend's Middle School Idol in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre. The top 20 contestants will sing for Baltimore-area directors, singers, and musicians who will narrow the group to ten finalists during the semi-finals on Friday, December 2 at 3:15 p.m. The finale is Saturday, December 3 at 7 p.m.
The star-studded finale, hosted by eighth grader Ben F., will include performances by the finalists as well as the Honors Choir, Rock Shop Band, and last year's Idol Sydney M. In true Idol fashion, there will also be video footage of the auditions. The process started in September with 45 contestants.
Semi-finals tickets are $5 at the door. Tickets for the finale are $10 at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Honors Choir Disney trip in March.
