Outstanding Fifth and Sixth Grade Oratory Finals
Middle schoolers gathered in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre on Friday, March 16 to hear the presenters in the annual Fifth and Sixth Grade Oratory Program. Current fourth graders also attended to see what is in store for them next year.
The oratory process started in January. After finding the perfect selection or writing their own oratory, students spent countless hours memorizing their pieces. Last week, each student presented his or her oratory in English class and was evaluated on poise and expression while speaking.
Sixth grader Alexis H. opened the program with a welcome message. Ian K. ’19 and Reid Q. '18 were the emcees.
